MEFI pro™ Edit 1.6 software for the MEFI™ 4A and 4B will let you LIVE TUNE your engine with your personal computer or laptop also you can view sensor data on the fly and save it for later use.
MEFIpro Edit™ 1.6 software`s virtual Dashboard allows you to view sensor data such as IAC, TPS and 02 voltage in real time, keep an eye on your Boost Amount, Spark Advance and Knock Retard plus dozens more of the Mefi`s output signals. Select Dashboard Detail and get information such as Run Hours, Engine Displacement, Octane Ratings and Software Revisions.
MEFIpro Edit™ 1.6 allows you to customize what you view and the way you view it through real time graphs using the change Time and Unit Scaling option. Read and Erase Fault codes plus Check Calibrations with MEFIpro Edit™ 1.6.
MEFI™ ECM Controllers are used in a wide variety of applications, including: Marine - MerCruiser, Indmar, and many boating applications Off-Road - Sand rails, Race Cars, Industrial Engines, Polaris Slingshots and Crate Engines. Compatible Windows Systems: Vista, Windows 7, 8 and 10.
Licensing
One MEFIpro™ Edit software license (interface cable) will allow you to download and upload, create and customize calibrations to a single ECM. The scanning and diagnostic features of MEFIpro™ will work on multiple ECM`s. After you purchase MEFIpro™ Edit software you will need to send your ECM to CBM Motorsports to have the software keyed to the ECM.
MEFI pro™ Edit 1.6 software package comes complete with everything you will need to interface to generations of the MEFI™ controllers: 1) A USB - MEFI™ Interface Cable. 2) A link to downloads. 2) A Step-By-Step installation guide and users manual.

Mefi™ ECM calibration, programming and diagnosing.
Have you modified your stock GM LS or Ecotec MEFI™ Engine with a high performance exhaust, bigger cam or have you had it supercharged? With MEFIpro™ Edit 1.6 software upload performance calibrations or tune your MEFI™ 4A or 4B Electronic Control Module (ECM) on the fly. 
The ECM, MEFI™ controls all engine functions including spark, fuel, idle speed, and rev limit. Depending on your application, MEFI pro™ Edit 1.6 ships with a base tune you can upload and get running right away. If you are planning to make any modifications or already have, ECM re-calibration is necessary for proper control of the engine.
The first step to tuning the calibration is to set the ECM so the engine operates in open loop mode and is not reading signals from the Oxygen sensors and making live changes to the AFR. This will allow you to validate the changes that are made to the Fuel and Spark tables since the ECM will not be modifying the AFR.
Engine monitoring, data logging, and malfunction trouble code reading is super easy to do becuase of MEFI pro™ Edit 1.6 user interface. MEFI™ definition files allow you to take full advantage of the features that MEFI pro™ Edit 1.6 has to offer. The interface cable allows you to do real-time monitoring and data logging of the MEFI™ engine controller.
